Target and Baby Gap Haul!

So before I was pregnant, I was adamant that I wouldn't be a new mum that stayed at home all day and looked after the baby. But after having Chloe, sometimes the thought of leaving the house by myself or even with some help can feel quite daunting - I was feeding her on demand, she could need a nappy change at any time, she could start crying/screaming at any time, and you know how people judge mums with crying babies!! There was also the issue of being in an enclosed space surrounded by so many people and germs lurking everywhere!

So I finally took Chloe out at 2 months to our local Westfield and it was an awesome day out! It was actually on a whim and we went after mums and bubs yoga, accompanied by Lola and Lolo :)

I was keen on checking out Baby Gap as I knew they were on sale and had some cute outfits! I also wanted to pick up some autumn outfits for Chloe at Target...and I think I went a bit crazy at Target as they had 20% off all Baby Wear!

It's super fun shopping for baby clothes! Everything is just too cute!

Pumpkin Patch Baby Girl Clothing Haul!

Happy Sunday everyone! Pumpkin Patch has had a few online sales on lately and when they had one with free shipping, I caved in and bought a few pieces for Chloe!

Check out the video below to see what pieces I bought! This set me back only $50!! Bargain!!

FYI, Chloe is 2 months old (10 weeks) and most of the bottoms I purchased for her were in a size 6-12 months and the onesies and tops were 3-6 months. They are obviously quite big on her but I bought them knowing she will eventually grow into them!

Before Chloe was born, I didn't shop for clothes much and most of her newborn clothes were gifts or hand-me-downs! This was the first proper shopping I did for baby Chloe :) I think doing the shopping later also gave me an idea for what she really needed rather than what is nice to have, given that babies do grow super quickly!

For the mums out there, where do you like to shop for your lil one?

Healthfood Haul!

I LOVE healthy food and learning all about nutrition! I believe that we are definitely what we eat and it is so important to put an emphasis on eating healthy, wholesome and nutritious food so we nourish our bodies and ensure we are functioning at our optimal best.  That's not to say that you can't have days where you eat take-out or indulge in your guilty pleasures (egg tarts!!)...but I do favour a balanced lifestyle of eating healthy, moving everyday and also enjoying an occasional indulgence :)

Anyway, this post is about a healthfood store haul and what I bought! I love buying my snacks from this store as well as supplements.  This is the list of my purchases, or if you prefer, watch my video below.  I really do apologise for the yellow lighting - it is horrible but I filmed after work (no makeup touchups either so excuse my face) and it gets pretty dark really early now :(

1) Vitalgreens - a vitamins, minerals and all-that-good-stuff supplement I add to my green smoothies every morning (yes I'm incomplete without my smoothie)

2) Pukka tea in Revitalise - a DELICIOUS tea made of organic cinnamon, cardamom and ginger. I also love their three tulsi tea.

3) Loving Earth chocolates - the best organic raw chocolate ever. Seriously.  And I was a chocaholic! I especially love their dark chocolate mint sweetened with evaporated coconut nectar (no agave!).

4) Loving earth kale chips - amazing tasting chippies! They are also really filling and great for an afternoon (or morning) snack :)

5) Maca Powder - I add Maca powder to my green smoothies.  Maca is highly nutritious with minerals, vitamins, amino acids and trace elements.  It also helps with hormonal balance!

6) Pitted dates - I never bought dates before but I wanted to try these in my smoothie as a natural sweetener, for making raw desserts and also as a topping on oats

7) Quinoa - giving this grain a second chance hehe

8) Almond Brazil Cashew nut butter - ALL TIME FAV! This does not last long in my house. I love eating it with raw cacao and honey. Too good.

9) Raw Organic Cacao Powder - my substitute for cocoa.  I use this in smoothies and raw desserts. It tastes amazing.

What are things you like to pick up at your local healthfood / vitamin store?

Haul! Black Friday sales :)

Who doesn't love a good sale? I've noticed that the retailers have been spoiling customers with a few (many?) sales leading up to Christmas! Yay! The items I mention below are a mix of Black Friday online sales and pre-Christmas sales. I have always been a lover of spending my days (window) shopping at the mall but recently, shopping online while sprawled out on my couch drinking my latte also has its benefits...

Hope you guys enjoy the video! What are your favourite pre-Christmas and Boxing day sales?

Dresses - Asos.  Love love love! I am super excited to wear these to weddings and other special occasions :)

Shorts and dress from Sabo Skirt.  I love the cute print and the dress is soo simple yet so pretty and feminine :)

Lace peplum top - Glassons.  What's not to love. My favourite top everrrr!

Flats - Witchery.  I am in love with these flats and have worn them to death (already).

Makeup goodies from Priceline and Skincarestore - Skindinavia makeup finishing spray from Skincarestore and the rest from Priceline :) I actually picked up the wrong mascara but oh wells. Still works amazing :)

Close up of the Maybelline Colour Tattoo in Pomegranate Punk. Loooove this colour (it's what I'm wearing in the video)

Priceline beauty haul!

Hi beauties :) I have a mini priceline haul to show you guys! Currently, there are some pretty good deals on offer for specific brands so I do recommend going in-store to check it out.  Have you guys seen the new Priceline website? You can also purchase the products and check out what's on sale on their website.

I fell in love with all these colours (L-R: Lilac Lace, Burgundy Crush, Royal Blue)! These were only about $5-$6 per bottle! I will do some swatches of these colours on my nails as I paint them on. I've tried the burgundy crush colour and it's darker on my nails than how it looks in the bottle - it is actually a plum-wine-red. Love it! Only one fault - it has chipped on one nail and its only the second day of wear :(

Love these colours!! The two Rimmel lipsticks (Asia and Vintage Pink) was buy 1 get one free and the Max Factor (Maroon Dust) was $7 off :)

My brief thoughts on the lipsticks - I love the colours, especially maroon dust! The textures of all the lipsticks are very creamy and moisturising which is the type of lipstick I prefer :) Very happy with these purchases!!

Nails Inc!!

Hello lovelies :) I really wanted to share these nailpolishes with you all since I purchased them back in August!! The three nailpolishes are by Nails Inc and I absolutely love them!! I saw these at the Beauty and Spa Expo and bought 3 polishes for $25!  You can purchase these online at Asos or Beauty Bay.  My favourite one of the lot is "Shoreditch", I love pinks and reds so this neon pink definitely caught my eye! I was also quite fascinated with the blue polish "Baker Street" and I simply adore the 3D glitter polish "Sloane Street" (although it took a good 20 mins to get it off!)

The consistency, opaqueness and colour is amazing and I am excited to get my hands on more colours from Nails Inc! Check out the swatches below and let me know what you think :)

As always, I used Sally Hansen Maximum Growth base coat and Out The Door topcoat. Colours L-R: Baker Street, Shoreditch, Sloane Street

Loving right now: For Audrey by China Glaze

I am <3ing this colour so very much :) It's so gorgeous!!  and the consistency and creaminess of the polish is excellent.  I actually applied this with just my bedside lamp on so excuse the messiness lol.  I was also very impressed with Out the Door top coat! The finish is very glossy and after 3 days, I still have no chips! And i basically went to bed straight after application and look, no bed marks hehe. Awesome.

Here is a haul I posted up a couple days ago. Enjoy xx

I am stocking up for Hawaii yay! Countdown - 2 weeks to go!!!
